Welcome to the 2017 Classics in the Park
July 22, 2017
As always, we expected some incredible vehicles to be attending this year’s event and, true to form, we were not disappointed. Vehicles came from all over and some came as early as 5:00 a.m. to be the first in.
Despite the weather, (we had a few bits of rain) virtually everyone remained for the full show. With nearly 300 cars and a lot of awards everyone was patient and remained for the proceedings.
We want to give special thanks to all the vendors and volunteers for all their support for without them we could not have made this happen.
All proceeds from the event this year are going to Gilda's Club Simcoe Muskoka.

The Barrie Thunder Classics is made up of a very small group of volunteers encouraging the preservation of motor vehicles. Blessed with having a venue as beautiful as Heritage Park on the picturesque waterfront of the City of Barrie, Ontario, the club demonstrates that the beauty of nature in the park can harmonize with the beauty of some of man's creations in the form of the automobile.
